CONWAY SPRINGS – A new event, the Conway Springs Booster Club Bash, will take place 6-9 p.m. this Friday at Central Park.
The community event will feature food trucks. A membership drive by the booster club also will take place.
Coaches and athletes will be introduced at 7 p.m. The cheer and dance teams will perform. Other fun and games are planned.
Booster club membership is $15 per person. Your booster club membership card also is good for free admission to one home varsity contest during this school year.
Other upcoming events include the Red-White scrimmages next Thursday, Aug. 25. The girls tennis team will hold dual/challenge matches from 4:15 to 6 p.m. The volleyball scrimmage will run 5-6:30 p.m.
The booster club will be accepting Gatorade and water donations for the sports teams. They are asking for 20-ounce bottles or smaller sizes.
The football team will take part in the Preseason Jamboree at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 in Hesston. Garden Plain and Halstead also will be there.
