Tag offices now offering appointments for title work

SEDGWICK COUNTY – As of July 1, the Sedgwick County Treasurer’s Office began offering appointments for title work customers at its Wichita tag offices located at 2525 W. Douglas and 5620 E. Kellogg.
Customers can make appointments via the county treasurer’s webpage, downloading and accessing QLess via the app, or at the Tag Office kiosk (for walk-ins). Customers are limited to a maximum of three titles per customer, per appointment.
“Appointments are another option for convenience and accessibility to getting title work done. Along with the recent expansion of our operation hours, we are continually working to give the availability the public needs with the quality service they expect,” said Sedgwick County Treasurer Brandi Baily.
Sedgwick County Tag Offices offer services for renewals, title and registrations, refunds, lien releases, one-day permits for inspections, 60-day permits, temporary and permanent disabled placards/plates, replacement plates/decals, duplicate registration, commercial work at fleet and dealers. The tag offices also have expanded the hours of operation from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The treasurer’s office offers online, dropbox and mail payment services. As always, customers may continue using the QLess line for renewals, title work, or walk-in (first come first serve, no Qless needed) for renewals. For general questions about tags, call 316-660-9000.
