Cheney High School names spotlight students

Jonathan Rajewski, Jordann Elder, Carson Middleton, and Rylan Doshier have been named the Cheney High School spotlight winners.

CHENEY – The March spotlight students have been named by Cheney High School.
The students are Jordann Elder, Johnathan Rajewski, Carson Middleton and Rylan Doshier.
Elder, a freshman, is the daughter of Daniel and Fether Elder. She is active in band, FCA, volleyball, basketball, softball and her church youth group.
“Great personality, pleasant,” said principal Greg Rosenhagen. “Always very polite and pleasant.”
Rajewski, a sophomore, is the son of Mary and Norman Rajewski. He is active in marching band, concert band, pep band, bowling, golf, forensics, CHS play, scholars bowl and robotics.
“Jon is an awesome guy who continues to surprise me,” said English and yearbook teacher Elizabeth Tanner. “He is very considerate and willing to help others. He shows a lot of grit to finish projects that he starts. people know they can count on him. He has a lot of talent and excels when he sets his mind to it.”
Middleton, a junior, is the son of Nanci and Jason Middleton. He is active in basketball, football, STUCO and baseball.
“Carson does a great job in class and in athletics,” said social studies teacher Kevin Schultz. “He pushes himself to get better all the time and he does it with a smile on his face. Carson is a good kid who comes to class with a smile each day. He was a great teammate this year in football and led by example with hard work.”
Doshier, a senior, is the son of Tammie and Ryan Doshier. He is active in football, basketball and track.
“Rylan has been a leader in his four years here at CHS,” said Schultz. “He works hard in his classes and in athletics. He leads by example in both settings as well.”
