Cheney Middle School students take turns handling a fire hose at the Cheney Fire Station. Each year, CMS students visit various buildings and departments in Cheney to learn about the role that city government plays in their everyday lives. Government Day is normally held in the fall for seventh graders. Last year’s seventh graders did not get to have the event so they were able to attend this year as eighth graders.
