Gary D. Richardson, 92, of Cheney, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Jan. 31, 2022. He was born on April 22, 1939, in Cheney, the son of Gene and Goldie (Gould) Richardson. Gary married Belva Erlene Patterson on April 8, 1960.
Gary is survived by his wife of 61 years; and his four children, Troy (Dana) Richardson of Cheney, Tammy (Donovan) Glaze of Mesa, Ariz., Tracy (Mark) Sroufe of Goddard, and Tony (Dawn) Richardson of Buhler; 14 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Gary is also survived by two sisters, Judy Ingram and Patsy Richardson, and one brother, Allan Richardson. Gary was preceded in death by two brothers, David Richardson and Darrel Richardson.
A viewing will be held for family and friends on Friday, Feb. 4, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cheney Baptist Church, 1502 N. Main. Cheney. The service will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cheney Baptist Church. There will be no graveside service at this time.
