Campus girls win tri

The Campus Colts girls bowling team won a tri hosted by Maize at West Acres on Friday. The Colts bowled 2220, winning big by 570 pins. Maize (1650) was second, and Derby (1486) was third.
The Campus boys (2360) placed second, as Derby (2767) won and Maize took third (2333).
The Campus girls claimed four of the top five individual spots. Madison Walker earned the individual win as the only bowler over 600, rolling a 620 series. Kenzie Kling, Abbie Adkins and Bre Warrent were second, third and fifth, respectively.
V-Thoon Thanasouk was fifth in the boys’ individual standings.

Cheney girls second at Mulvane

The Cheney girls took second in a tri with Mulvane and Buhler last Friday, held at Derby Bowl. Buhler was a clear winner, bowling 2132. The Cardinals bowled 1615, and Mulvane had 1480.
The Cheney boys (2138) finished behind Buhler (2491) and Mulvane (2306).
Kylee Trego had the best overall finish for Cheney, taking fifth in the girls’ standings. Aubrey Strodtman came in sixth.
