W. Leroy Hall


W. Leroy Hall was born Dec. 1, 1943, in Kingman to James R and Beulah (Wolfe) Hall. He lived in Kingman until 1957 at which time his family moved to Cheney. Leroy graduated from Cheney High School in 1962. He attended Midwest Bible Institute in Webb City, Mo., in 1963, and married his high school sweetheart, Euteva Armstrong, in 1964. They lived in Cheney until 1974, at which time they moved to Goddard, where he lived the remainder of his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, his parents, one brother and one sister. He is survived by his son David (Julia) of Medical Lake, Wash.; daughter, Deanna Miller (Gary), Loveland, Colo.; son, Doug (Krista) of Goddard; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Lottie) and Jimmie; sisters, Norma Driskill and Sharon Tartamella; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
At a young age he accepted Jesus as his savior. He was a kind and loving man who lived his life as an example of Christ in all he did. He was always helping family, friends and strangers when they were in need. Leroy left a heritage of God’s love for all of his family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at Reliance Community Church, 11910 W Pawnee, Wichita, on Oct. 30 at 11:30 a.m., with a viewing one hour before.
