GODDARD – Candidates for the upcoming board of education election will meet at the Apollo Elementary School in Goddard for a candidate forum on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. The school is located at 16158 W. Apollo Street and the forum will be hosted by the Goddard Education Association.
The forum is a chance for community members to hear candidates speak before heading to the polls on Nov. 2 to vote.
This forum only includes those seeking a seat on the board of education and does not includes candidates running for other political seats that may be included in the November election.
Candidates running for the USD 265 Board of Education include Kevin McWhorter, Shane Dent, Mark Richards, Ginger Rose, Ruth Wood, and Jon Weakley.
