Jillian “Jill” (Fountaine) Ewing, age 87, retired pharmacy clerk, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
Service was held on Friday, May 14, at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church, Clearwater.
Jill was born on Sunday, Jan. 1, 1934, in Edgware Middlesex, England, to her parents, Andrew John Fountaine and Catherine Minnie Saunders. She was united in marriage to Charles Lamar Ewing on April 24, 1954, in Watford Herts, England.
She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Ewing; parents, Andrew and Catherine (Saunders) Fountaine; son-in-law, Sam Cox; and great-great-grandson, Jacob Wharton. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Cox of St. Joseph, Mo., Jane (Lex) Logan of Clearwater, Susan (Greg) Hilley of Clearwater, and Diana (Ronnie) Beard of Wichita; brother, Bryan (Rosalind) Fountaine of England; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, (Memorial Processing Center), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater, was in charge of arrangements.
