The Garden Plain Owls were denied their third State title in four years on Friday at Kansas State University's Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan. The Sterling Black Bears won this Class 2A semifinal 69-52.
Garden Plain had won back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019. They lost a chance to defend in when they reached the final four in 2A but the pandemic ended the tournaments early. This year, it was the Black Bears, who had lost the 2A championship to Garden Plain...
