An Oct. 21 ribbon cutting with the Goddard Chamber of Commerce officially recognized the re-opening of the Lake Afton Public Observatory, which had been closed for months because of the coronavirus pandemic.The observatory officially reopened on Oct. 2, with new safety protocols.
