CHENEY – Last Thursday, the Cheney City Council learned that the city has been approved for a Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission (KCAIC) grant of just under $10,000.The grant will enable local artist Kelly Caswell to create a temporary art installation in the empty lot between the Cheney Health Center and Cheney Pharmacy on Main Street.
