Obituary: Larry Decker

Larry D. Decker, age 83, retired Trans World Airline employee and resident of Clearwater, passed from this life to be eternally secure with Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
Survivors include Wanda L. (Stotts) Decker, his wife of 62-1/2 years; sons, Steve and wife Debra Spring of Wichita, Keith and wife Cheryl Thompson of Rose Hill; daughters, Shawn Decker of Clearwater, and Amy and husband Rodney Emery of Clearwater. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and will always be remembered as a man who prayed that his entire family place their faith in Jesus Christ so all would one day be in heaven at the feet of Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Waunita of Newton; sister, Loretta Loomis of Newton; and brother, Tony of Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, donations noted as “missions” are requested through Crossroads Baptist Church, 11441 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67206. Friends encouraged to attend visitation 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 20, at Crossroads Baptist Church, 11441 E. Central Ave., Wichita. Family and extended family service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Crossroads Baptist Church.
