Shirley Elaine Faucett, 83, died Sept. 20, 2018, in Wichita.
She was born Sept. 6, 1935, at Belmont, Kan., the daughter of Norman E. and Gladys Simons Johnson. A longtime resident of Cheney, she was a cook for the Cheney Grade School, tool trailer supervisor for Borton’s Construction, and was a homemaker.
On Aug. 14, 1967, she married Bob Gene Faucett at Alva, Okla.; he died Jan. 26, 2001. Survivors include sons, Greg Allen Thornton and Norman Eugene Campbell; daughters, Melinda Elaine Grayson and Donna Louise Kiser; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by step-son David Faucett.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial was in the Vinita Cemetery.
