Lois N. (Masur) Winters, 88, of Clearwater, retired bookkeeper, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018.
A visitation was held 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018, with family present 5:30-7 p.m. at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary. Services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Clearwater United Methodist Church.
Lois Nadine Winters was born in the country at home on Aug. 15, 1929, near Ovid, Colo. She was the only child of Lucas Martin Charles Masur, Jr., and Ruth Alean Rowland Masur.
In 1986, Lois married Byron Max Winters and had eighteen years of marriage before he passed in 2005. During that time, Max and Lois traveled to Alaska, Wisconsin, Canada and Branson, Mo. Of all the things Lois did in her life, she enjoyed being a homemaker the most. She had a passion for cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they became the center of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucas and Ruth Masur; her husband, Byron Max Winters; and her step-son-in-law, William “Bill” North.
She is survived by children, Pat (Stan) Donnish, Penny (Dennis) Johnson, Ann North and Pat (Stan) Domnanish; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Heather) Johnson, Lucas (Jill) Johnson, Shelly (Wes) Roehrman, Katie Domnanish, Tom (Heather) North and Jennifer (James) Book; and eight great-grandchildren.
