Richard L. Rosenhagen, 78, retired dairyman and 30-year official with the Kansas State High School Activities Association, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Richard was born on the family farm near Cheney on Dec. 8, 1939, the son of Henry and Pauline (Sponenberg) Rosenhagen. He attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School, Cheney High School and Kansas State University. On July 22, 1962, he married Karen Foley.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; sons, Tim and friend, Annette, and Brian and wife, Rochelle, daughter, Donna, and husband, Van Dewey; brothers, Ronald and wife, June, and Renard and wife, Patty; sister-in-law, Charlotte Rosenhagen; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Private family graveside was held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday June 6, with a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Cheney.

Visitation was on Tuesday, June 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. with family present 6-8 p.m. at Wulf-Ast Mortuary, Garden Plain.
