Steve Cotton, age 68, of Viola, retired project manager for Bombardier Learjet, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 25, Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. Rosary was at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, and funeral Mass was 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, both at St. John’s Catholic Church, Clonmel.
Steve was born on Sunday, July 10, 1949, in Kingman. He was the second-oldest of six children born to Leon and Mildred Cotton. On Oct. 14, 1972, he was united in marriage to Barbara J. Wells at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clonmel. Steve served proudly in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Mildred (Gilges) Cotton; and brothers, Phillip and Gregory Cotton. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; sons, Steven (Amanda) Cotton of Viola, Brian (Amber) Cotton of Clearwater, and Nicholas (Crystal) Cotton of Clearwater; siblings, Carol (Paul) Clark of Clearwater, Kay (Jerry) Harris of Clearwater, and Dana (Robert) Fitzsimmons of Winfield, Mo.; sister-in-law, Jeanine Cotton of Wichita; and grandchildren, Trent, Sarah, Ireland, Emily, Joseph, Cooper and Lakin Cotton.
